Work Experience

Mathematics Teacher – Alexandra Park School – 2018 to present

In this position I taught math to students ranging from Year 7 (6th grade) through Year 11 (10th grade). This included students with a variety of learning difficulties, and included the inclusion of student led mastery concepts, individualized learning, differentiation, technology integration, and project based learning.

Science & Math Teacher – Sacred Heart Language College – 2018

In this position I taught math and science to students in a faith-based all girls school for year groups ranging from Year 7 (6th grade) through Year 11) 10th grade. This included inquiry-based learning, student led mastery, technological integration, and differentiation.

Department Leader of Physical Education/Exercise Science Department – Beijing Royal School – 2017 to 2018

In this position I guided the design, implement and supervision of multiple curriculums for various educational systems for a student body above 1000. This position included the supervision and training of multiple staff members, collaboration with different departments as well as school leadership. Additionally this position included the creation of many school level policies and procedures.

Supply Teacher – Round Rock ISD – 2016 to 2017

This position involved teaching a variety of student in many different settings and over a variety of different subject matters.

Basketball Coach – Multiple Teams/Locations – 2016 to 2018

In this position I have created and coached boy’s basketball team’s, age 14-19, that included establishment of team tennants, systems, conducting tryouts, establishing playbooks and participating in all aspects of competition. These teams were highly competitive within league and regional tournaments.

Personal Trainer – Peak Fitness (Self-Employed) – 2012 to 2017


This position included the design and implementation of fitness training programs, nutrition plans, and lifestyle change plans. This included supervision and training of multiple clients ranging from elderly patients achieving pain-free activities of daily living, to professional athletes.

Section Leader – United States Marine Corps – 2008 to 2013


In this position I was responsible for training and supervising groups of Marines within a section that included up to 30. I was responsible for developing a handbook for proper techniques and policies to be used at the division level. Received multiple commendations, and awards for leadership and service.

Key Achievements

2018 UNESCO Mobile Learning Week: Invited to give speech on current and future digital skills and their impact on education.

Beijing Royal School: Designed and implementing a comprehensive school wellness program for over 2500 students and 300 staff.

University of Texas: Awarded top Preservice Educator in graduating class.

United States Marine Corps: Certificate of Commendation for operations conducted.
